Liar, Liar if we're keeping score

"Which came first? The addict or the drug?"

well, you can't be addicted to something unless there's something for you to crave, but on the otherhand a drug is just a plant or drink or powder until someone wants it badly enough. People who have addictions fool themselves into thinking "I'm doing it because I want to, not because I need to"
When they feel they have the power, and there are mile high obstacles between them and what they want they tell themselves they have the power to hurdle right over them. They tell themselves this even when they are on the floor, battered, bloody, bruised and flattened.

Is an addiction a weakness? I guess it all depends in what the object of your addiction is. It could be substance, a feeling, or even a person. Some addictions are productive and can create beautiful masterpieces, but other
s can ruin lives and leave people a shell of their former selves.

I don't mean to judge people, but we all do, be it positively or negatively, we all do it. If you see a behaviour being performed that is socially unacceptable, you tend to think the person is somewhat wild and out of control. Or maybe they just like having fun and don't care what others think? I believe people who strive to cast themselves as an "individual" and preceed to tell everyone they are one aren't individual at all. They're rather annoying and there are thousands upon thousands of people with the same mindframe as them and someone should organise a party and invite them all so they can all see they're just as mainstream as everybody else. It shouldn't matter if you like the same things as other people, as long as you're being true to yourself. And if you're so petty as to not tell anyone anything about where you got a certain top or how you get your hair that way well, I'll just say you're not a very considerate person. Telling them where that necklace is from could really brighten their day, especially if they've been looking everywhere for a similar one. Just being nice to people is what we need. I'm no saint, far from it. I can't like everyone and I'm not shy in telling them so, but they usually give me a reason for not liking them.

I just can't stand selfishness and liars. What's the point really? You just end up feeling guilty and crap.
